I would be going to Ireland for my PhD in January and for the first month I have to manage my expenses. I have ICICI debit card which is international but does anyone recommend any forex card ?
Like which would be the best option money wise.

I recently Booked my forex using Tripmoney for prepaid INR denominated forex card. Below are my complaints,

1. They lie about MarkUps and over charge and hope you don't find out
   
2. You cannot transfer back balance money to your card.
   
3. You cannot access their dashboard in many countries including the whole Europe because they are not data compliant.
   
4. Takes 3 days to add balance to your card.
   
5. Also, when you cancel your stay or booking made by using Tripmoney card you really have to chase them for refund money..it's not automatic. It's been 3 months still they have not issued refund, i have sent 33 emails for the same.
   
6. Most pathetic customer service - they have no call centre number neither they respond to your email promptly.
   
7. Incompetent people are running this fraud company. Also not regulated by RBI.
   
8. Learning. Use a forex card by a reputed bank not ones that are running their business from a suitcase. Even forex rates are little higher it's safe and will always there to solve query.

Noticing some strange stuff on my card after my trip to the US.
I've filed my expenses with work with amounts as they appeared on my card basically immediately as they showed up. However, I'm looking at it a couple weeks later, and noticing the amounts are slightly higher. The only thing I can think of is the forex fee is delayed. Could someone confirm this?

On July one night, some fraud transaction happened on my Axis bank credit card. Within minutes of these fraud transactions, I called customer care and blocked my card and raised for a dispute. In 8 transactions I lost around 50k. As response of the dispute I was asked to wait for 3 months. I got the temp credit for some transactions. So in that month I ended up paying the some amount which I lost since that get added on the statement.
After 3 months I got the amount back as dispute charges. There were excess amount in my credit card because of the credits of returned amount. I filed for transferring that amount to my back account.
Then the shit happened. They reverted some amount saying that is the reversal of temporary credit(which was already done). Then I got a mail saying some disputes(3/8) are rejected. The reason they quoted was that the transaction was OTP protected and I shared the OTP(absolutely not the case).
What is my best case of action now(I am not in the country now)? I am total fear of ever using a credit card(should have disallowed international transactions). Is Axis bank security and customer care experience known to be bad? Or is it the case for all banks?
